Wellington 24th May 2025 Tawa Taekwondo (Mike Murray)
Having the banners/posters up makes it a better event. Great support from some local refs (nick and Abby) made it all flow very well. Positive messages and emphasis on “relaxed” and “grassroots” were awesome and important. Having your goods to sell was great way to make memories Aswell. Having you guys do all the hard work and we provide the venue and muscle for set up was great. All in all, a wonderful event. Improvements: I can’t think of any. More entries? But I can understand that this may ebb and flow as the l it’s for 3 or less Sparring. I would be happy to host it again, but happy to wait my turn

As instructors/coaches the relaxed tournament atmosphere was a pleasant change. Thank you, the day went really well, congratulations to you, Gary and Camille of course. All our players really enjoyed the day, we had a few first timers too.
It was really good to meet you in person even though we didn’t chat for long.

What an awesome day. Thanks for everything Hayley. This wouldn’t be possible without you, Garry and of course Camile (and any others in the background). This has done a lot for my club members and due to the event they can see what they can achieve. Not to mention the kids and parents were so proud and smiling from ear to ear lol
